Meet the inventor Wallace and his canine companion Gromit. Together they are an award-winning duo and on this DVD we get to see them have their first adventures together.
In A Grand Day Out, it’s a boring bank holiday and Wallace and Gromit are looking for an ideal place to take a vacation. Upon discovering that they have no cheese left in the house, they decide to build a rocket ship and go to the moon to get some. Whilst there, they make a couple of strange discoveries. In The Wrong Trousers, it’s Gromit’s birthday and Wallace has gotten him something special and expensive. A pair of Techno Trousers that will take Gromit for a walk whenever he likes. When a mysterious guest hires out their spare room, things begin to get dangerous as the Techno Trousers are hijacked and used as assistance in a dastardly crime. In A Close Shave there are some sheep rustlers on the loose and when Gromit is framed for the dastardly crime, it’s up to Wallace to clear his name. But Wallace has got his mind on other things. A woman to be exact. Can he resist the siren call of love and help save his best friend?
Wallace and Gromit have been around for ages, definitely for as long as I remember, and these are their first adventures now on DVD. The classic stop motion clay animation and the voice of Peter Sallis, makes the 3 Cracking Adventures of Wallace and Gromit timeless classics that I always come back to. Like Disney classics and the Muppets, Wallace and Gromit have no expiration date.
