Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit [PG]

In their little town, Wallace and his best friend Gromit are Anti-Pesto, a company that provides the townsfolk with contraptions that protect the thing they hold most dear: their veg. With their annual vegetable competition fast approaching, something sinister is afoot. All their prized giant vegetables are disappearing and it's up to Wallace and Gromit to capture the culprit. But this is no ordinary rabbit!

I was brought up watching Wallace and Gromit on TV, so when this movie came out, I instantly decided that I simply HAD to see it. Admittedly the story is a little silly, but the cheese-loving inventor and his canine companion pull it off superbly.

In their little town, Wallace and Gromit are Anti-Pesto, a company that supplies the townsfolk with contraptions that will protect their prized possessions: their veg. With rabbits breaking into every garden for a midnight snack, business has been booming, especially with the annual vegetable competition coming up. But the dynamic duo are soon charged with a larger-than-life assignment. The town's gardens are being ravaged every night be an enormous rabbit and it's up to Wallace and Gromit to catch it. But with the vegetable competition fast approaching, can they do it in time?

The story was just perfect for the dynamic duo. I mean they've been through weirder scenarios. Foiling an evil penguin in The Wrong Trousers, flying to the moon to get cheese and befriending a moon robot in Grand Day Out, and proving Gromit's innocence and catching a sheep-snatching robotic dog in A Close Shave. Why not have an adventure where they get to solve the mystery of a huge rabbit?
With a very clever and quick-witted script and featuring the voice talents of Peter Sallis, Helena Bonham Carter, Liz Smith, and Ralph Fiennes, Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is a warm and funny movie that will make you both laugh and cry. An absolute treat for the whole family.

"Ooh I do like a bit of Gorgonzola."
